Lenten Bible Study
Beginning on Thursday, February 15th at 10 am, Pastor Randy will lead a 6-week Lenten Bible study in the Choir Room. The study will center on the Passion of Jesus, using material written by author, professor, and biblical scholar Amy-Jill Levine. Her introduction to the material reads, “Jesus’ final days were full of risk. He risked his reputation when he entered Jerusalem in a victory parade. He risked his life when he dared to teach in the Temple. His followers risked everything when they left behind their homes, or anointed him with costly perfume. Exploring the Biblical texts that surround the Passion of Jesus, you will examine how the text raises ethical and spiritual concerns as well as the risks that we experience as Christians.” Sign-up in the back of the sanctuary or contact the office to let us know that you will be attending. Please email the office at: office@alcpv.org
